GSX Journal of Education, Teaching, and Learning (GSX J. Educ. Teach. Learn.)
The GSX Journal of Education, Teaching, and Learning is a peer-reviewed, open access journal dedicated to advancing educational research, pedagogical innovation, and inclusive learning practices across the Global South. As part of the Global South Index (GSX) platform, the journal provides a space for educators, researchers, and policymakers to share insights that reflect the diverse educational realities of Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, and Oceania.
The journal promotes equity in education, culturally responsive teaching, and the development of contextually relevant learning systems.
Open Access Policy
• Fully open access: All articles are freely available online upon publication.
• Creative Commons License: Published under CC BY 4.0, allowing sharing and adaptation with attribution.
• Affordable APC: A processing fee of $50 USD is charged per accepted article to support editorial operations and digital infrastructure.
o Waivers and discounts are available for authors from low-income institutions or underfunded research projects.
• Global accessibility: Designed to remove barriers to knowledge and promote equitable research dissemination.

The journal publishes original research, theoretical papers, case studies, and policy analyses in areas including:

Submission Guidelines
• Article Types: Research articles, case studies, policy briefs, review essays, teaching notes
• Length: 6,000–10,000 words for research articles; shorter formats accepted for briefs and notes
• Language: English (with abstract translations encouraged in local languages)
• Formatting: APA style; templates available on the journal website
• Peer Review: Double-blind process with 2–3 expert reviewers per submission
• Turnaround Time: Initial decision within 4–8 weeks; expedited review available for policy-relevant work
• Processing Fee: $50 USD per accepted article; payable after acceptance
