GSX Journal of Emerging Economies (GSX J. Emerg. Econ.)
The GSX Journal of Emerging Economies is a peer-reviewed, open access journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research on the economic transformations, challenges, and innovations shaping the Global South. As part of the Global South Index (GSX) platform, the journal provides a space for rigorous scholarship, policy dialogue, and inclusive knowledge production.
We welcome contributions from scholars, practitioners, and policymakers working across Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, and Oceania.

- Affordable APC: A processing fee of $50 USD is charged per accepted article to support editorial operations and digital infrastructure.

Submission Guidelines
- Article Types: Research articles, policy briefs, review essays, data notes
- Length: 6,000–10,000 words for research articles; shorter formats accepted for briefs and notes
- Language: English (with abstract translations encouraged in local languages)
- Formatting: APA style; templates available on the journal website
- Peer Review: Double-blind process with 2–3 expert reviewers per submission
- Turnaround Time: Initial decision within 4–8 weeks; expedited review available for policy-relevant work
- Processing Fee: $50 USD per accepted article; payable after acceptance
